Career Training Academy provides short term training in Health, Business and Massage Therapy careers. CTA is licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology.
The Medical Assistant Comprehensive Program and Advanced Bodyworker offer an Associate in Specialized Technology Degree. The Advanced Medical Coder/Biller program offers an Associate in Specialized Business Degree. All other programs are diploma programs.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT COMPREHENSIVE - DAY (ASSOCIATE IN SPECIALIZED TECHNOLOGY DEGREE)
CTA offers a Medical Assistant Comprehensive program, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. This
Program consists of 1040 hours of classroom instruction and 460 hours of externship for a total of 1500 hours.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT - DAY/EVENING
CTA offers a Medical Assistant program, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. for day classes and
6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for evening classes. Both programs consist of 480 hours of classroom instruction and 420 hours
externship for a total of 900 hours.

MASSAGE THERAPY - DAY/EVENING
CTA offers four programs in Massage Therapy: Advanced Bodyworker - 1532 hours, Associate in Specialized Technology Degree; Diploma programs include: Comprehensive Massage - 900 hours, Therapeutic Massage Technician - 600 hours. Day classes are held Mondays through Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and two Saturday clinics per month from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Evening classes are held Monday through Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and two Saturday clinics per month from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

CTA offers a Health Insurance Claims Examiner/Medical Biller program, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. This program consists of 720 hours of classroom instruction, 144 hours of externship combined
With 36 hours of in-house practicum.

ADVANCED MEDICAL CODER/BILLER - DAY (ASSOCIATE IN SPECIALIZED BUSINESS DEGREE)
CTA offers an Advanced Medical Coder/Biller program (A.S.B. Degree), Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. This Program consists of 1200 hours of classroom instruction, 60 hours of in-house practicum, and 240 hours of externship for a total of 1500 hours.

CTA offers a Dental Assistant program, Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 1:20 p.m. This program consists of 640 hours of classroom instruction and a 260 hour externship for a total of 900 hours.
